Bill Nichols runs his own consulting company. He provides marketing strategy services to financial services, professional services, and other B2B firms. But mostly he volunteers his business expertise to assist non-profit organizations and NGOs in developing countries. He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1978 and a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Military Academy (West Point) in 1971.
Bill is an inveterate world traveler. He has visited over 125 countries, five continents, and a few islands. Bill began his international travels courtesy of the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany, Panama, and after his Army days, in England. He has traveled with his family for over four decades and continues to take exotic vacations with his partner, Micky, and sometimes with his two adult children. He is the co-author of Exotic Travel Destinations for Families. (Santa Monica Press, 2004)
Now, when he takes a business trip to a developing or emerging market, he blogs about it in Business Trips to the Edge.
